In project management, GEPLAN’s main activity is planning, which is carried out at three levels: General Planning, Management Planning and Operational Planning.
General Planning encompasses the planning of the basic resources to be employed, the services to be contracted and the overall progress of the project. The objectives established in this phase must remain unchanged at all stages of the project, unless there are substantial changes to the project. In this way, General Planning serves as a standard and basis for Management Planning, as well as being a comparator for performance analysis purposes.
Management Planning considers the structure of the project in the development of the various levels of planning, programming and control, taking into account physical and economic-financial aspects. The function of this planning is to define and update the Master Schedule, establishing time parameters, anticipations or delays. This optimizes resources at the execution level and controls the physical and financial progress of each stage of the project at the management level.
Derived from management planning, Operational Planning is drawn up with the following objectives:
This level of planning ensures that day-to-day operations are efficient and that resources are used optimally, guaranteeing that the progress of the enterprise takes place as planned in the general and management planning.
Through these three levels of planning, GEPLAN ensures efficient and integrated management of projects, guaranteeing quality, meeting deadlines and optimizing costs.
